Mission Statement
Dedicated to providing well maintained aircraft with the latest technology to pilots for recreation and training in a passion-for-flying Club atmosphere.
After 20 years of raising her three children, Annette Roehrig, founder and manager of Eight Winds Flying Club, decided to pursue her dream of flying. Training for a Private Pilot license led to a Flight Instructor Certificate. Her experience with older equipment and long Club waiting lists inspired her to provide quality state-of-the-art aircraft and services to her students. Since 2006, Eight Winds has provided the only "Glass Cockpit" training at Akron-Canton Regional Airport.
